More than that, I'm really just as new to this as you. Newer, even.

[Horatio at least had the experience of his brief relationship with Maria-- and their longer one as well as his marriage to Barbara in their last life.

All Archie had was some of half-formed memories of the Ladies from Before and a couple youthful relationships before college. Horatio's one of the only people he's ever felt this serious about and really properly known he'd wanted to last.]
